What do you think about 62nd Kouhaku Uta Gassen list?(unofficial)

just a short post about the unofficial list of 62nd Kouhaku Uta Gassen 2011. in the list, there will be 3 kpop groups Tohoshinki, KARA and Shoujo Jidai. it still unofficial but for me, if it’s confirmed, then i’ll be greatly disappointed with Kouhaku.

Kouhaku is a prestigious event in Japan and inviting about 3 Kpop groups will drop the quality of this event and there is a rumor that 7 kpop groups will be performed this year. i hope it’s not true at all.

anyway, the official list will be announced on 30/11/2011 at 4-5 p.m(JST).

  1. I honestly don’t see the reason for you guys to be hating on K-Pop groups at all. What Kohaku does is take into account what each group has achieve in that year. And I have to say that all 3 of these groups have done really well.

SJJD has gotten 3 commercial contracts keeping them in the public’s eye with E-ma Nodoame, Lipton and 7-Eleven. The same 7-Eleven that is the most popular grocery chain in Japan, the one that has some of the most popular adverts.

Kara has not had one single chart under 3rd in ranking and sells every single with at least 70 000 copies.

With THSK, I mean really? They’ve been in the industry with Japan since their debut in 2004. They have had their dome tours sold out and and both their singles have sold over 150 000 copies.

I’m not saying that J-Pop groups are bad or worse than K-Pop groups. I’m just really tired of people hating on K-Pop fans for no reason. It is very ikrsome (and yes, that is a word). I think that inviting these K-Pop groups is only recognising the popularity og K-Pop around the world. I don’t get why that is so bad.

Anyway, Sorry that has gone on so long. I trylu am happy with every group/ performer for Kohaku, and I really can’t wait to see it.

    • so,you are saying that if a group appears in many CM it means that they are supposed to be in Kouhaku? you better check what is Kouhaku actually.
For THSK, okay.it makes sense because they have been in Japanese industry for long years but what about the other two?i’m not hating these two groups but i’m not their fan either because i don’t like Kpop.thing is, they were debuted for less than two years. KARA, i still can see the reason but SJJD is totally no. with all the recycling songs, is this what you called ‘done very well’??

and you are tired with ppl hating on Kpop? ok. i’m tired of Kpop fans who claimed that Kpop>Jpop, ‘ahh…kpop rules!’,’Kpop dominates Japan’ and bla..bla..
plus, Kpop media always OVER EXAGGERATING on Kpop in Japan. well, you cannot blame Jpop fans for these. if Jpop is that bad (in Kpop fans view), why would K-artists debut there??it doesn’t make sense for artists to debut in a ‘Kpop>Jpop’ industry.just imagine that your ‘oppa’ debut in Malaysia/Indonesia/Philippine.

and one thing, i think that Kpop is about popularity.seriously. why? being invited just because recognising the POPULARITY of KPOP.you state it clearly.FYI, POPULARITY =/= QUALITY.that’s why you don’t get it.
